What do you get up to in the week?
In my role at Christ Church I get to work closely with our youth and young adults. It’s great fun and involves lots of variety across the year. I get to do lots of speaking and Bible teaching, training leaders, and there is always a camp or event on the horizon.

Family, kids, pets?
I struck gold when I married Kristen – she is the hero of our family and a constant model of God’s love and patience. Together we have 3 energetic kids that fill our house with fun and noise.

Likes and dislikes about Gladesville and Putney?
God’s been pretty good to the people of Gladesville and Putney – great parks, good cafes and lots of friendly people. I love the fact that I can be almost anywhere in Sydney in 30 mins. Although I’m not a fan of Putney’s streets that can’t accomodate parked cars and driving cars!

Brief Testimony:
I grew up with an awareness of God and the Bible through the teaching of my parents. For the most part, I wanted to be a Christian because I feared missing out on the good stuff at the end, but it wasn’t very real or personal. All that changed for me when I was a teenager. At a youth camp I came to realise that there was in fact a very real and personal creator God, who I had rejected through living for myself. At the same time though, it became clear to me that although God should be angry with me, He in fact loved me deeply and sent Jesus to die for me, to rescue me from my selfishness. That changed everything.
