Praise God that 43 men were blessed by taking time out of busy lives to encourage one another, grow in faith, and simply enjoy good fun together around the camp shed we built at Kedron on the northern beaches.

The devotionals and stories shared were both deeply personal and practical, helping us reflect on God’s work in our own lives.

Many men met new brothers from both Arvo and EC, while others strengthened existing friendships over hearty campfire-cooked meals.

The relaxed, unstructured time was a real gift. Without the pressure of schedules, conversations flowed more naturally. Men were free to mingle, listen, laugh together, and share openly in a way that doesn’t always happen back home.

One of the standout memories for me was our praise and prayer night. Voices lifted in heartfelt song, and the shed we built gave the singing such great acoustics. It created a powerful atmosphere of praise and encouragement, reminding me of the most important thing in life — to live for God’s glory and sing it out.

Personally, I was challenged to “turn up the mission heat” — not just praying for mates and family, but actually stepping out to share Jesus with them. I came back encouraged, refreshed, and ready to get on with it.
