DAVID MEARS - SENIOR MINISTER
David is the Senior Minister at CCG. He leads the ministry team and is responsible for our direction and vision. When he is not teaching the Bible you might find him cooking a curry or playing baseball.
SCOTT NEWLING - MATURITY PASTOR
Scott is our Maturity Pastor. He leads our small group ministry and make sure we are training and equipping our leaders and growing future ones too. Scott loves science fiction and history and would love to discuss either (or both) with you!
MORGAN RENEW - MAGNIFICATION PASTOR
Morgan is our Magnification and Ministry Pastor. He makes sure our Sunday meetings are great and that we are doing everything for God's glory. He also helps us find places to serve and be involved in helping others. If you get up early enough you might catch him out on the river on his stand up paddle board.
JEREMY KING - EXECUTIVE PASTOR & MEMBERSHIP PASTOR
Jeremy is our Executive and Membership Pastor. He makes sure we welcome people and help them settle into church life and community. He also supports the wider staff in their ministry goals and manages the office team.
MARTY HUGHES - YOUTH & MISSION PASTOR
Marty is our Youth Pastor. He leads our ministry to high school students which includes running our Regenerate Youth program on Friday nights and Growth Groups on Sunday afternoons.
SARAH LANCASTER - CHILDREN'S & FAMILIES' PASTOR
Sarah looks after our Children’s ministry, including Sunday School, Scripture in our local public schools and our annual Good News Week holiday program. She loves working with children and creatively teaching them the Bible and partnering with parents to help them encourage their children to become more like Jesus.
ERIN MOORCROFT - ASSISTANT CHILDREN'S & FAMILIES' PASTOR
Erin has recently graduated from Sydney Missionary & Bible College and joined the ministry team part time. She loves drinking good coffee in small cups. But more than that she loves seeing the Bible faithfully shared with children. Erin is looking forward to working alongside leaders and partnering with families to see the children grow in the understanding and love of God. This is something that Erin wants to see happening world wide and is looking at overseas mission long term in the future.
PHIL STOLK - STUDENT MINISTER
Phil and his wife Janice have moved to Sydney from North Queensland to study at Moore College to be better equipped and trained to teach the life saving message of Jesus in regional Australia. In his spare time, Phil loves to explore the outdoors, and particularly enjoys surfing, hiking and mountain biking.
ALEX JONES - STUDENT MINISTER
Alex began attending Christ Church Gladesville in 2007, and is currently completing her Master of Divinity at Sydney Missionary and Bible College. Prior to studying full-time at college, Alex served with the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical students at UTS. She is enjoying the new challenge of teaching kids about Jesus, as well as assisting in the pastoral care of the evening congregation's Community Group leaders. Alex likes calligraphy, (watching) sport, and music of the late 90s.
FIONA NIELSEN - MINISTRY EXECUTIVE
Fiona works in the office on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays supporting our pastoral staff and wider church family. Previously a paediatric occupational therapist, Fiona has since completed her Masters of Divinity at Sydney Missionary & Bible College. She is at her happiest when eating good food, hanging with friends, and seeing people’s lives transformed by their love of Jesus and his word.
CINDY TAN - MINISTRY EXECUTIVE
Cindy serves the church in ministry administration, execution support and events management and is in the office on Mondays and Tuesdays. After working in corporate finance, she completed a Graduate Diploma in Christian Studies at Regent College in Vancouver, Canada. She's married to Sean and they have a young son, Zachary. She also enjoys jigsaw puzzles and eating out with friends.
LINDSEY BURMAN - RECEPTIONIST
Lindsey Burman is originally from England and moved to Australia with her husband and two children in 1992. She has a background in IT and has also worked in various administration roles. Lindsey attends the 9am congregation and works part time in the church office. Lindsey’s responsibilities include answering the phone, greeting visitors, equipment ordering and assistance in preparing for the Sunday meetings. She likes to paint, sing, and read.
