Trained at Sydney Missionary and Bible College, Andrew and his wife Julie have been attending Christ Church for 22 and 15 years respectively. For some years Andrew was on staff in a part-time role, heading up the church's cross-cultural ministry. Andrew and Julie both speak basic Mandarin and have an English as a Second Language teaching background.

Andrew joined the staff full-time in 2006 to lead the new church plant at Meadowbank. Andrew, Julie and their three children live in Meadowbank.
