Phil has been the senior minister at Christ Church since May 2003. Phil, Jill and the family moved from the Eastern Suburbs and have have greatly appreciated the warmth and support of so many in helping them settle in quickly.
Phil has responsibility for the overall ministry at Christ Church and for leading the staff team. Phil works with a team of leaders to pastor and organise the 9 am congregation and associated ministries. Phil has wider ministry interests with the Ministry Training Strategy (MTS) to develop ministry training and leadership in other Churches in the north of Sydney, as well as with Katoomba Convention. Phil enjoys running, soccer, golf, good coffee and games with his family. Phil works each day at the Church Office and can be contacted easily on Tel: 9817 2631. Alistair is the new minister of the 10.30 congregation. He is from England and trained for ministry at Oak Hill Theological College in London. Prior to joining the staff team here at Christ Church, Alistair was serving as the assistant minister at several Anglican churches in Cambridgeshire. Alistair loves all things Australian, especially his wife Sarah. They met when Alistair came to Sydney on an exchange to Moore Theological College in 2004. They have two young children and in the few moments of spare time that are left in the week Alistair likes sitting in cafes reading a good book or heading to the beach for a swim in the sea. |

Trained at Sydney Missionary and Bible College, Andrew and his wife Julie have been attending Christ Church for 22 and 15 years respectively. For some years Andrew was on staff in a part-time role, heading up the church's cross-cultural ministry. Andrew and Julie both speak basic Mandarin and have an English as a Second Language teaching background.
Andrew joined the staff full-time in 2006 to lead the new church plant at Meadowbank. Andrew, Julie and their three children live in Meadowbank. |
Bruce and his family have been inolved at Christ Church for the past 15 years. Prior to coming here he worked as a youth worker at Bexley North and then Rozelle. For the last 11 years he has had the responsibility of heading up children's and family ministries. This involves teaching scripture in schools, after school groups, organising CCs (Sunday School), and working with the parents of our Church. Bruce attends the evening congregation and has great pleasure in working with many people from that congregation in leadership and training. Bruce's great joy here at Gladesville is to see the Bible taught and responded to by all ages. Bruce is married to Jan and they have 4 children, Sarah, Christopher, Zoe and Johanna. |
Ann is professionally trained as an early childhood teacher and has for many years been providing training, coordination and leadership for our creche and preschool ministries. Ann is married to Keith and they have three children,Nick, Sarah, Claire and a dog Max. |
Gavin is studying at Sydney Missionary and Bible College. He is married to Kate and minister to the youth in Regenerate and serves in evening church |
Robyn Kapp is our Office Administrator. Robyn's responsibility is the administration of many areas, such as maintaining the Church calendar, newsletters, publishing and printing, Sunday meeting outlines, evangelistic event support, rostering, music, office operations, baptisms, weddings, member database, property management/maintenance and handling phone and drop-in visitor queries. Robyn is a member of the 9am congregation and assists with welcoming and pastoral care. |

Lindsey Burman is originally from England and moved to Australia with her husband and two children in 1992. She has a background in IT and has also worked in various administration roles. Lindsey attends the 9am congregation and works part time in the church office. Lindsey’s responsibilities include answering the phone, greeting visitors, equipment ordering and assistance in preparing for the Sunday meetings. She likes to paint, sing, and read. |
James Luttrell (full-time) James is doing the MTS ministry training program, and he and his wife Sophie are new to Christ Church Gladesville having come this year from St Swithun’s in Pymble. He has led youth groups previously but this year is using the program as an opportunity to work in a range of new areas. James works with Evan on the 6.30 meeting, with Bruce on scripture at Gladesville and Boronia Park primary schools and Hub Club as well as high school scripture. James is ialso involved with music at the 6.30 service and is also a member of 9am congregation. James previously worked for 3 years at the Australian Bureau of Statistics on an economic survey. In his spare time he likes playing guitar, going to the movies or reading the Saturday newspaper.

Morgan Renew Morgan is studying at SMBC and serves at 10.30 and Meadowbank congregations. He is marrried to Olivia and have a liitle girl, Mia Grace.
Thomas McConaghey Thomas and his wife Laura moved to Sydney from Newcastle in 2008, and were welcomed into Gladesville's 10:30 congregation. Thomas is in 2nd year at Moore Theological College, and help in the running of the 10:30am meeting, as well as the 9am children's program "CCs". Thomas also enjoys attending the evening meetings at Gladesville. Thomas and Laura are both musical, and also both love cooking. Theological topics that particularly interest one or both of them (apart from Jesus himself) are: how the rule of Jesus impacts culture, particularly our western culture, and what makes a successful church. We'd love to meet you and to discuss these, or any other topics you'd like.
Sarah Lancaster Sarah left her teaching role in a primary school to join Christ Church as a trainee minister in 2007 and is studying at Moore College. Sarah loves teaching children about Jesus.
Mike Baines Mike and his wife Karen serve (and are served) at Meadowbank International Church. Mike’s in his second year at Moore Theological College, where he enjoys the challenge of knowing and understanding God better and spending time with his inspiring classmates and teachers.
Mike and Karen love TV, books and movies (though they’re trying not to let them take over their lives!) and visiting Karen’s mother country, Canada. Topics that particularly interest Mike include Christian Masculinity and the Christ-Centred Media Diet. What do you think about these things, and what do you think about what the Bible actually says about them?
Chew Chern Chew Chern is a student at Moore College. She is from a non-Christian home, and by God’s grace, turned to Christ when studying in bitter cold UK. She is serving at Meadowbank International Church.
Ed Frost Ed is studying at Moore College and has serves in the children's ministry on Sunday mornings.
