Senior Minister & Ministry Pastor

Phil has overall responsibility for ministry, strategy and direction at Christ Church and for leading the staff team. He works closely with all congregations preaching, teaching and helping people use their gifts to serve God in his role as Ministry Pastor.

Phil has wider involvement with a number of external ministries beyond Gladesville which include a role with the Diocese helping other Anglican churches in the Ryde area become more mission focused to reach our area with the good news of Jesus, with Katoomba Christian Convention and with Anglican Deaconess Ministries as a Board member.

Magnification Pastor

Morgan focuses on helping us understand and express just how great God when we are together as a church and also in our individual lives. He loves to hear the words “Church was great today, I wish I’d brought my friend” and he loves to hear what people are learning from Gods word.

Mission Pastor

Rhys drives our outreach and evangelism at Christ Church. His desire is to see the gospel preached and for us to connect with people locally and globally so we can tell them about Jesus.

Executive Pastor and Membership Pastor

Jeremy aims to make Christ Church a place where people can belong and do life together, whether first time visitors or 40 year members. He also assists the wider team in the planning and execution of ministry at Christ Church and manages the office staff and volunteers who help keep church running.

Maturity Pastor

Bruce focuses on the running of our small groups as well as teaching and training programs that help us become more like Jesus. It is his vision to see all members of our church in a small group or meeting in a 1:1 pastoral relationship. Bruce also runs our Friday night kids program which keeps him young.

Preschool Ministry Trainer and Coordinator

Ann is responsible for the creche and preschool ministries at Gladesville, including Sunday morning groups and Junior Jivers and Kids Biz during the week. Ann also liases with the Christ Church Preschool, which operates on the grounds of our church.

Children's & Families' Pastor

Sarah looks after our Children’s ministry including Sunday School, Scripture in our local public schools and our annual Good News Week holiday program. She loves working with children and creatively teaching them the Bible and partnering with parents to help them encourage their children to become more like Jesus.

Youth Pastor

Marty is our Youth Pastor. He leads our ministry to high school students which includes running our Regenerate Youth program on Friday nights and Growth Groups on Sunday afternoons.

Ministry Trainee (MTS)

Chris is involved in praying for, and teaching the Bible to, kids and young adults who live in the Gladesville area. By God's grace he also gets to be trained by lots of awesome men and women, both in how to be a minister, and also how to live the Christian life!

Pastoral Assistant

Chew Chern disciples and mentors people across our congregations in her role as Pastoral Assistant. She also assists Bruce to focus on Maturity at Christ Church.

Christ Church Canada Bay Pastor

Andy studied his theology degree in the UK, and during his studies got married to his wonderful wife from Sydney. They moved to Sydney in 2010 and have since had a lovely little boy.

Andy is passionate about helping people come to know Jesus as their Saviour and Lord, and follow Jesus as their Saviour and Lord.

Office Administrator

Robyn Kapp is our Office Administrator. Robyn's responsibility is the administration of many areas, such as maintaining the Church calendar, newsletters, publishing and printing, Sunday meeting outlines, evangelistic event support, rostering, music, office operations, baptisms, weddings, member database, property management/maintenance and handling phone and drop-in visitor queries. Robyn is a member of the 9am congregation and assists with welcoming and pastoral care.

Receptionist

Lindsey Burman is originally from England and moved to Australia with her husband and two children in 1992. She has a background in IT and has also worked in various administration roles. Lindsey attends the 9am congregation and works part time in the church office. Lindsey’s responsibilities include answering the phone, greeting visitors, equipment ordering and assistance in preparing for the Sunday meetings. She likes to paint, sing, and read.
