In response to our Lord’s command to go and tell the good news to all, we at Christ Church are privileged to be able to help train and equip young men and women who are considering full time leadership roles in the church both here in Australia and overseas.

What is MTS Partners?

The MTS Partners Program has been established to give all of us the opportunity to support and encourage the work of MTS (Ministry Training Strategy) within our church, through hospitality, prayer support, encougement and financial support.

Many who have trained through MTS @ CCG in the past have gone on to full time ministry.

As MTS Partners we need to:

• Help raise the profile of MTS
• Help raise support for MTS Trainees
• Help raise funds for MTS and student ministers

How we will fund MTS at CCG

This year we will have two MTS trainees and seven Student Ministers - two will be self funded.

MTS Trainees have a full time commitment to our church for practical training and service (usually for two years) and receive an annual stipend of $17,500.

Student ministers attached to our church who are attending full time bible study at a theological college receive an annual stipend of $6,000.

We are also committed to giving and additional 5% to Moore College and 5% to MTS national.

How you can help

• One-on-one meetings
• Adopt an MTS trainee or student minister
• Invite them home for a meal
• Encourage them
• Pray with them
• Encourage their spouses
• Give financially
• Get involved with their ministry

To help us to account for all money that is directed towards MTS would you please read the following "how to give" instructions.

Cash/Cheque:
Use an offertory envelope and clearly mark as "MTS – and your name"

Electronic Transfer:
All you need to do is set up a regular transfer from your account. This can be done at the bank or via the internet. You can schedule your payments and change them at any time.

Please include "MTS and your name" in the description field and remember to include your congregations bank account number.

Tax Deductible
If you would like your MTS contribution to be tax deductible, please contact the church office for further instructions.

Gifts to this fund must be over $100. You will be sent a tax receipt.
