Congregations

At CCG we have a number of options for meeting together. There are three meeting at the Gladesville site; two in the morning and a youth meeting Sunday evening. The church also supports two other meetings. The Meadowbank International Church and the new Canada Bay Church.

Below are the meeting details for all the congregations. There are links to maps and other web sites as well.

All are welcome, single or married, young or older. Children are well catered for. There are separate groups for pre-schoolers (Noahs), Infants and Primary (CC's) as well as an excellent creche.

For the first 10-15 minutes of the meeting both the children and the adults spend time together, singing and sharing in the life of the church. There will then be a time for children to go out to their variosu groups while those who remain take the opportunity to say "hello" to each other.

During the meeting we pray, sing, and listen to a sermon God's word. Usually the sermons work through a particular book of the Bible, though sometimes sermons follow a particular topic instead.

After church is a great time to catch up over a coffee.

10:30

10:30Imagine if you could give God a microphone. That is what we believe is happening when we meet together at Christ Church at 10.30am every Sunday. Our time together is all about listening to God speak to us from the Bible and responding to him with our lives for the rest of the week. No wonder that for many of us church is the "highlight of the week."

Here are some key features of 10.30:

  • Welcoming – we love to have visitors and new members
  • Diverse – we are different ages, nationalities and backgrounds
  • Child friendly – we have a crèche and groups for preschoolers up to year 6
  • Relaxed – we enjoy being together and being ourselves

Evening Church

Evening church

Coming to 6.30 Church is either the best way to finish the weekend or start the week depending, whatever way you want to look at it! We are committed to bringing glory to God by being faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. Thats what we are on about on Sunday nights at 6.30. We sing, pray, share, eat, teach all this under God's Word, the Bible. 6.30 is made of mainly people between the ages of fifteen to forty, although people of all ages are welcome. The congregation is led and pastored by Gavin Mork.

We also have a full range of small group ministries meeting during the week They are central to church life and aim to encourage us in applying God's Word to our lives, so they involve more than simply bible study, they include prayer, fellowship, sharing of what the Lord is doing in our lives, spiritual nurturing, accountability and opportunities for service and outreach. Belonging to one is a key way of truly belonging to the Christ Church family.

Gavin can be contacted at: or on 9817-2631.
